Longer bio:

Helena Harte writes sapphic romance for readers who want emotional depth, real chemistry, and a happy ending they’ve actually earned. Her novels follow women who are complicated, capable, and learning that love doesn’t ask you to be less than you are.

Based in the UK, Helena is married to award-winning romance author Ally McGuire, with whom she also co-writes the Wifey Romance series. She brings the same warmth and wit to her solo work as she does to their collaborations — and considerably more of what she calls her “gooey marshmallow romantic side.”

She writes across multiple genres under other pen names, but Helena Harte is where the love stories live.

Available as a speaker on romance panels, writing craft, representation in genre fiction, writing as part of a couple, and on being an editor. She is available for podcast appearances, writing workshops, and events celebrating LGBTQ+ fiction and romance as a genre.

She has run the Queer the Shelves book festival (and co-run the previous iterations of it) for eleven years. She has been on panels for the Golden Crown Literary Conference, done readings in bookstores throughout England, and has run writing workshops for Writing East Midlands as well as the Golden Crown Literary Society.
