Did you know that I’ve got a new monthly newsletter with wife, Ally McGuire? If you join now, you get a free and exclusive co-written short story inspired by our recent travels, and you’ll get another one written just for you every six to eight weeks just by staying subscribed! We’re off to the north of Spain in a couple of weeks to run writing retreats to twelve budding and established authors, so it’s very likely your next story will hail from Galicia 😉
Anyhoo, I’ve been busy getting Unwritten ready for your discerning eyeballs, and you can now grab a four-chapter preview.
But before you rush off to that link, I want to talk to you about the Netflix series, Atypical. Have you seen it? Since discovering it, Wifey and I have binge-watched all four seasons and have been left wanting more! There’s neurodiverse rep in the most authentic and sensitive way we’ve ever seen on TV, and then there’s a huge dollop of queer rep too (featuring the actor, Brigette Lundy-Paine)Check out this review about the series if you’re interested. Have you watched Atypical and/or read Ally’s Fragments of the Heart with neurodiverse character, Shawn? Ally is neurodiverse, and I’m neurotypical, and that’s created a lot of interesting situations over the past decade, with both of us trying hard to understand the way each other’s brains work! We’d love to hear your experiences and thoughts from any perspective 🙂

Anyhoo, another cool thing about signing up to our Wifey Romance newsletter is the chance to win signed copies of our most recent releases. Unwritten up for grabs next month, but in the meantime, I’ve got to figure out who gets the romance treatment in book three of the series. What do you think? Solo and Janie? Ellery and Alyssa (who you’ll meet in November)? RB? Woody? Let me know your thoughts!
Stay fierce, and keep loving boldly!
